VOYSYS VR PRODUCER 60 fps, multi-camera live VR/360° production software

Voysys VR Producer allows you to use a single computer to realize full-blown multi-camera live VR production. Stitch 360° video, switch between several 360° camera positions, and render additional graphics and virtual screens on top – all on one machine.

The Voysys real-time, depth-based stitching function enables you to quickly switch to new camera positions, and allows real time fine-tune stitching during broadcasts. Using Voysys VR Producer’s real time GUI, you can change camera position and adjust other objects in a preview window prior to making changes live using a smooth transition effect. Virtual screens can be left intact during transitions.

Voysys VR Producer is delivered as a software installation file, and you are free to design and procure your own computer hardware.

Can VR/360° technology be used to boost user experience when watching esports?

To find out, Voysys and Intel conducted a live broadcast during the Dreamhack Winter 2016 event in Jönköping, Sweden. Our joint idea was to create a virtual environment where the end user could see all the players in real time, all their screens, the show cast screen and the map of the game. The idea was realized using the Voysys VR Producer running on a single Intel Core i7 based  computer.

The resulting live stream was tested by a large number of gamers during Dreamhack, and the response was 100% positive. Even pro gamers found the technology far more useful than existing flat showcasts.

So, yes, VR/360° can definitely boost user experience of esports events!
