• Omega Dual Deck - Is a two video channel system in one chassis, each channel with its own audio, RS-422 control and time code. It features independent and simultaneous record and playback capability.
• Omega Raid Deck - Is a dual channel recorder with a built in RAID (disk array) controller. It features two independent channels with shared video storage, making it ideal for spot insertions, instant replay, and broadcast delay applications.

Omega Deck is the ideal replacement for standard analog tape decks and CRV Laser Disk Players. It delivers all the advantages of clean digital video and non-linear random access with the same controls, inputs, and outputs found on current tape decks. Whether input is analog or digital, the image data is always maintained inside the deck as standard CCIR 601 4:2:2 digital data.

The sleek front panel features a convenient LCD touch screen menu that controls compression levels, recording options, playback looping and genlock timing. The DigiDeck digital video recorder from Fast Forward Video is an ATAPI 2.5" hard disk based industrial multi-use DVR providing broadcast quality digital video.

The DigiDeck PC digital video recorder records video to removable drives as QuickTime .mov files for viewing on a PC, while still maintaining active analog composite and Y/C outputs, with optional Component/RGB out (replaces Y/c out) .

The new Outrider DV, ultra-compact digital video recorder with enhanced features measures only 4.69"x2.21". Its designed for OEM applications and is ideal for high-resolution recording for surveillance, law enforcement, emergency first responders and portable broadcaster.

This DVR records up to two hours at 20:1 compression with readily available compact flash cards, providing easy removal and transfer of recorded video. It is also configurable for a 2.5" IDE hard drive. The DVR is also equipped with a USB 2.0 port for file transfer.

The Outrider also features a time/date stamp and character display, time-lapse recording, NTSC/PAL compatibility, composite and Y/C inputs and outputs, pre-event record, and loop record of PC-viewable or secure video

Featureing video capture and playback at 60 fps NTSC and 50 fps PAL, the Outrider offers a resolution greater than 550 lines at 4:1 compression, user-selectable compression ration range from 4:1 to 20:1, and recording times average between 4 to 20 minutes per GB. GPI control panel options include record, seek, or scan forward/backward; single-frame forward/reverse; delete clips; and play/pause.

The Recon Eval Board Development Kit is excellent when developing applications for the Recon DVR where a pushbutton control interface may be used with an LCD readout. A microcontroller translates pushbutton commands into Sony/Odetics control protocol for full configuration and control through the RS232 control port.
